It is also for the medical appointments and group meeting for the client and the Surrogate Mother. There is another fee to pay to people who come to America to get their child and this fee is of $3.500. Another fee is to pay the support group coordinator of $1.200. When the client finds their surrogate mother they have to pay her for her reimbursement of living expenses, this cost is normally $32.000 - $40.000; this payment can only begin when there is a confirmation of the fetal heartbeat. The client also has to pay the surrogate mother $200 per month for her phone calls, appointments with the doctors and many other activities. There is also a surrogate support group attendance fee of $1.200 this is for the surrogate mother to attend the support group. Then there is an embryo transfer fee, it will be $500 for the first injection and then $500 per day of embryo transfer. At the third trimester the client has to pay the maternity clothes for the surrogate mother, this is a fee of about $1.000. If a cesarean is chosen then the client has to pay $2.500 and there is also a possible insurance up to $32.500, this is to insure that the surrogate mother will have medical insurance to cover from beginning to end. The life insurance for the surrogate mother is of $595 incase of the surrogate’s death. There is also a criminal background check of $250 this is because your surrogate mothers cannot have any criminal backgrounds. There is a psychological screening to make sure that the surrogate mother is ready and prepared for what she is doing; this is a fee of $1000. There is an independent escrow fee that is $750 and an attorney fee which is $5,000.
